I love these. What is hot-linking? If I save the image to my own file, is that alright? AND when I want to use it I use your profile name when I make it an avatar? Yes *blushes* I'm that dense!

Hot-linking is basically when you use someone's bandwidth...like linking directly to an image instead of saving it your computer or your own hosting site/service/storage. Saving the image to your own file is perfectly fine :)

When you want to use it, just credit... for example if you're using it as an avatar image on LJ, you can put my name in the comments. If you're using it anywhere else like on a forum, sometimes you can't credit, but other times there are ways to put the persons name in a signature file or whatnot.

I'm not too picky on it. I just hate when I see things posted places where it's presumed some other person made it AND is taking credit for it, because that is not cool.
